Red Sox Lose Opener In 10 Innings (87-73)

Today, the Red Sox lost to the Yankees by a score of 5-6 in 10 innings. Since this is Mike Lowell's (right) last series before retirement, he had a thank you speech today, to go along with a pretty good game in which he went 2-2 with 2 RBIs, making him now .231/5/26. Daniel Nava went 1-5 with an RBI, he is now .240/1/25, as he has been ok this year. Tim Wakefield was not very impressive, allowing 5 runs in 5 innings, he is now 4-10/5.34/84, as this has been probably his worst season in his career as this was a tough year for anyone on the Red Sox. The nightcap has already started and the score is 0-1 at the moment, I hope the Sox can pull ahead!
