Toronto- A Fluke?

In yesterday's game, the Red Sox outdueled the Blue Jays 2-1. Brian Tallet (right) gave up 2 runs in 6 innings, and earned the loss. I think that the Blue Jays might be a fluke, because in their last 2 series against AL East teams, they have been 1-3, against the Red Sox and Yankees. Getting the win for the Red Sox was, of course, Tim Wakefield, who is now 5-2 with a 3.59 ERA, last year, he was 10-11, so what a comeback. I don't think the Jays will hold their own, and the Red Sox, Yankees, and Rays will challenge them and eventually take control. Pitching tonight is Penny who is 3-1, against Brett Cecil, who is 2-0.

  1. Oh wow PAPI just got home run #1 !!!!!!!!!!!! It's early to say tha Toronto is a fluke. They could be the 09 version of the Rays (I don't think so), or I believe they will eventually slip because they don't have enough quality starters and the Yanks, Sox and probably Rays are all stronger. It would be nice to see a SWEEP!!!!!!! PS BAY just hit a rocket!
