Red Sox' Late Rallies Help Them Edge Astros (5-5)

Today, the Red Sox split their squad and in the first game beat the Astros 3-2. The Red Sox pitchers did pretty well as Josh Beckett allowed one run through 3.2 innings, he is now 0-1/3.18/4 this spring as he's been doing alright. The win went to new acquisition Dennys Reyes, who threw a scoreless 8th inning, and the save went to Matt Fox, who did the same in the 9th inning. Ryan Kalish (right) had a great game, going 3-4 as he is now .250/0/0 this spring. However, the key hits belonged to Nate Spears, who went 1-3 with 2 RBIs today, he is now .294/0/3 this spring. I'm glad the Sox edged this game out, and I've got another blog post about the Cardinals game coming out in a few minutes!
