Lackey Very Strong In Win Against Orioles (4-5)
Today, the Red Sox beat the Orioles 6-5 along a dominant start by John Lackey (right). Lackey went 4 innings, allowing only one hit, and he is now 0-0/1.50/0 this spring. Today's win, however, went to Tony Pena Jr., who rebounded from his last tough inning with a scoreless one, he is now 1-0/6.75/0. J.D. Drew had a pretty good game, going 1-3 with 2 RBIs, he is now .200/0/2. The other RBIs went to Carl Crawford, Kevin Youkilis, and Yamaico Navarro, who had a walk-off single in the 9th. Crawford also stole two bases today in a 1-3 day, he is now .200/0/1 this spring. Tomorrow, at 1:05, the Sox are set to face the Cardinals and Astros in another split-squad day for them. I'm glad the Sox won, and I hope they can pick up at least one more win tomorrow.
