Double Weekly News
I have been away so once again we have a Double Player of the week, and once again it is David Ortiz. Big Papi is really on a comeback surge and he had 4 homers and 11 RBIs over the last 2 weeks. He now has 4 awards, 1 less than Jason Bay. Papi also led the Sox to a 8-5 record over these weeks as they won 2-1 against the Orioles, and A's, went 1-2 against the Mariners, and went 3-1 against the Royals. To top of the week, today Josh Beckett beat the Royals 6-0 earning his 100th career win. The Sox are now 54-34 and 2.5 games over the Yankees. The All-Star selections have also been made: Dustin Pedroia, Jason Bay, Kevin Youkilis, Tim Wakefield, Josh Beckett, and Jonathan papelbon all made it!

Is it possible for you to have any more information!? Heck I can't find this much on mlb.com
ReplyDeleteWow. Where do you get all of this information?!?!?!?
ReplyDeleteRed Sox=6 All stars! First Place! Only team to have 2 11 game winners!! Looking good for the second half. Starting pitching is getting more consistent, bullpen except for a few games has been great, offense could be a little better if they are going to maintain first place. Oh yeah! I love this kid Mr 100 MPH (Dan Bard!).
ReplyDeleteIt was great to see Beckett pitch a complete game -- and a shut-out -- for his 100th win!
