Today, the Red Sox beat the Orioles 6-5 and won their 7th straight series. Their 6th straight winning 2-1. Pictured right is someone who has not been pictured in my blog yet, reliever Ramon Ramirez, who got the win to make him 5-2. The Sox are now 48-30 and 3 games ahead of the Yankees, who are playing the mariners tonight. Today's game really was amazing as the Red Sox really showed the O's how it felt with a rally. Losing 5-1 in the 9th, when Kevin Youkilis hit a bomb and made it 5-3. Then, with the bases loaded, Rocco Baldelli hit a 2-run single. Then, Julio Lugo singled to bring home Jacoby Ellsbury in the 11th. Beckett had a terrible game, going 7 innings and giving up 5 runs. This is a great year for the Sox! By the way, I am sory but I am away from home again until the 11th so there will probably be another double Player of the week after that.
Lets go Youkilis!
