Double Weekly News

To all of those Sox.Rox fans, I am so sorry. I have been at my cousin's house for a week and I am sorry I couldn't make a post. Today, I am making a double weekly news meaning whoever gets this award gets two Player of the Week awards. And the winner is a man on a great comeback, Big Papi, David Ortiz! He got 3 HRs, and 7 RBIs these past weeks, more than Jason Bay and Varitek who tied for second. Over these 2 weeks, the Sox have gone 8-4, they have won every series they played 2-1. They are currently 47-29, John Smoltz is pitching tonight and go Smoltz! Tim Wakefield also is tied with Roy Halladay with 10 wins, as he is 10-3. Dice-K and Mike Lowell are injured however. These Sox have the 2nd best record in baseball and the best in the AL, they really are having a great season.

  1. Nice to have you back! Sox winning so far tonight. Yes they are on quite a streak and hopefully it continues. I don't want to see the yanks or rays get any closer. How abour Bay leading outfielders for the All-Star! And what about Paps tying Bob Stanley for Saves!

  2. Way to go Papi - great to see him back in shape. What a crazy outcome to the Orioles game last night -- Sox were ahead 10-1 when they rolled up the field in the rain. I thuoght they had it in the bag!
