The player of the week, for the first week of the season is Jason Bay(right). He went for 2 home runs and 6 RBIs, along with a .294 AVG during the 2 series against the Rays and Angels. The Red Sox have not had the greatest hitting in '09, but he has been a highlight for them. The Red Sox have really not been playing all that well, as they are 2-4. I expect that this will change after a series against the A's, as I think they will sweep them and go on to the O's. They are sadly in 5th in their division at 2-4, but, as I said, I expect this will change.

Weekly News

We'd like to take Jack to a Frederick Keys(our minor league faves around here) game, but we think it'll have to wait until he's old enough to understand and appreciate at least the basics of the game. I'm sure you can help him with that.
