Beckett Experiencing Concussion-Like Symptoms

Yesterday, Josh Beckett was hit in the head with a baseball during batting practice, and is experiencing concussion-like symptoms. Luckily, it is not too bad as they are classified as "mild concussion-like symptoms." He had enough strength to walk off the field from left field, where he was shagging flies, but is at home resting today. I hope this doesn't affect Beckett's pitching, as last year, faced with injuries, he went 6-6/5.78/116, but on Sunday night looked sharp against the Twins. He threw two innings, allowing one run, and being tagged with the loss through no fault of his own. I hope that, come April, this injury will not have mattered in the long run.
