Last night, the Sox went on to win, 4-1, Clay Buchholz, a man who has really bounced around in the last few years. Last night he earned the win, and is 1-0 on the season. He allowed 1 run through 5.2 innings. Last year, he was 2-9, the year before, he was 4-1, with a no-hitter. Last night was really just a reward for his patience and to give the Sox' rotation a break, but he devoured it! (which turned out to be a very big fluke!) The Sox are now 55-34, and 3 games ahead of the Yankees in the AL East. The Sox just had a great start to the second half! They have a 4-game win streak too! Go Sox!Saturday, July 18, 2009
Buchholz Gobbles Reward
