Varitek is back

The long-time Red Sox catcher, Jason Varitek is back! He signed this last Friday with a 1 year, 5 million $ contract! Also, more importantly, Varitek is only the 3rd person in Red Sox history to wear the special C on his jersey. On the bad side, however, Varitek only hit for a .220 AVG this year, with only 13 HR and 43 RBI. If he doesn't get better, they will put in (their other new catcher) Josh Bard. Plus they've got a few minor leaguers like George Kottaras, Dusty Brown, and Mark Wagner. Also, they have to work him a bit less, he played 131 games this year, unheard of for a catcher. A big question is who will catch for Tim Wakefield, my guess is probably Josh Bard, but what do I know?
