Series Preview #32: Red Sox (55-57) @ Indians (51-60)

After a predictably disappointing series against the Rangers kept the Red Sox below .500, they'll be looking to pass that mark against the 51-60 Cleveland Indians. Game one tonight will feature Felix Doubront (10-5, 4.56) and Ubaldo Jimenez (8-11, 5.29). Doubront's success against the AL Central coupled with the fact that the Red Sox have rocked Jimenez in the past makes me think tonight will be a win. In Friday night's game, we'll see Clay Buchholz (9-3, 4.48) and Chris Seddon (0-0, 7.71) go head to head. Buchholz has been great lately and this should be a relatively easy win for the Red Sox. Game three's starter is unannounced but as the rotation has gone, it should be Aaron Cook (3-5, 4.70) and Zach McAllister (4-4, 3.60). I think that the way Cook has been pitching lately, the Indians can handle him in this game. The series finale will have Jon Lester (5-10, 5.36) and rookie Corey Kluber (0-0, 6.10). Even though Lester is in a down year, the Red Sox should take this game. Bold Prediction: Red Sox win series 3-1.
