Series Preview #20: Red Sox (29-31) @ Marlins (31-29)
On the heels of a three game sweep at the hands of the Washington Nationals-- the Red Sox will head on the road to test out brand new Marlins Park in Miami. In the first game of the series tonight will be one of the Red Sox better pitchers this year in Josh Beckett (right) (4-6/4.04/51) against Marlins ace Josh Johnson (3-4/4.56/59) who is pitching better of late. This should be a close game that I think the Red Sox will edge out. Game two of the series will feature Clay Buchholz (6-2/5.77/46) trying to continue to right the ship against Mark Buehrle (5-6/3.49/39). This should be another close game that could go either way but I'll predict a loss just because the Marlins are at home. The Red Sox will go for (hopefully) a series win in Wednesday night's game with impressive rookie Felix Doubront (6-3/4.34/72) going head to head with Ricky Nolasco (6-4/4.36/45). This should be a close game but I think the Red Sox could edge it out. This series should be very close in every game and it could just as easily go for a sweep for either team. Bold Prediction: Red Sox win series 2-1.
