Clay Buchholz, Victor Martinez (left) and Dustin Pedroia (right) both got injured in

the Red Sox' 3-game series in San Francisco. Martinez and Pedroia are going to the 15-day DL and it looks like Dustin Pedroia is going to miss 6 weeks with a broken foot. This is devastating because Pedroia is having a great year (.292/12/41) and is basically the face of the team. Martinez (.289/9/38) is their starting catcher is also a very good player. Luckily, Clay Buchholz (who has been the team's best pitcher this year is going to avoid the DL it appears. Buchholz has done a fantastic job this year, going 10-4/2.45/64 so far, he hyperextended his knee while running the bases. Tonight, the Sox play the Rays and John Lackey (8-3/4.69/56) and James Shields (6-7/4.55/92) will take the hill in Fenway Park. I hope the Sox can recover from injuries and continue their hot streak.
