This week's Player of the week has deservingly been Tim Wakefield. He went 2-0 this week, and is now 6-2 with a 3.99 ERA. The Sox had a good week too, going 4-2, 3-0 against the Blue Jays, and 1-2 against the Mets. They are playing the Twins to start off this week. This was an eventful week, as Daisuke debuted for the first time since his injury and lost, Jed Lowrie is rehabbing, and the Sox are in first place! The Yankees are now in second and the Jays are in third. We only have a 1 game lead over the Yankees however, at 27-18. I hope we can keep the good position!
Whow would have thought last year that Wakefield would be such a valuable player? He has been doing great. That slow meandering ball just seems to confuse every batter! And he is cool as a cucumber.
