A-Rod in Trouble

Well, as most of you know, our "friend" Alex Rodriguez has taken steroids. He tested positive in 2003, so I don't know why they have waited so long. I don't know too much about this case but here is what I know. A-Rod led the MLB in homers in 2007, which I don't know whether is natural of becuase of the use of steroids. I think the reason that he wasn't diagnosed straight away in 2003, but I heard something about them being anonymous about the steroid tests. He is already in trouble, but I hope ( much as I dislike him), that he doesn't become another Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens. That would be pretty bad for him! He only hit 35 homers this year, so he might not take them anymore, but if he does, I'd like to see him with natural power. Many times, I have watched a Red Sox vs. Yankees game and he has come up and slammed one out of the ballpark. What will he get without them? Nobody knows.

  1. I feel bad for his fans who have supported him. He's not a Red Sox (thank God). I only hope that there are no big name Red Sox players on this list of 104. That would be dissapointing. Cann't wait for the season to start.

  2. Yes, this whole issue is sad for baseball as a sport, for the players, and for the fans. I salute A-Rod and the others who have come clean and admitted that they did it and made a mistake. If this keeps him (and Barry Bonds and maybe others) out of the Hall of Fame it will be a heavy price to pay. I hope we can all move on soon.

  3. I was just reading about how Brad Penny was throwing today pain free. He said one of the main reasons he came to the Sox was due to their medical staff and the excellent shoulder program they have for pitchers. He said they have shown and explained to him things that no one had ever informed him of before. He is also excited about being reunited with Beckett. He could be very dominant if healthy and what a nice staff the Sox would have. What do you think?
